Hi. I am long time Rx7 fan. My first car was an '84 GSL-SE (Silver with a red cloth interior) which I loved to drive and work on. Unfortunately I eventually came to that fork in the road where you either choose the car or your girlfriend. The relationship with the girlfriend didn't work out, and I have been trying to replace that car ever since.
Well, well, well...
...when I first started dating my future wife, I took her to the garage and showed her the '68 Pro-Street Firebird. "That will be your only competition," was how I introduced her to "the cars." Never had a problem since and still got that beast, tho it's engine-less for the moment.
The way it's been going on around here, I have no doubt you'll find your -SE. We've had a lot of folk joining in the past month that have the cars. They seem to be more common than the GS model.
Let us know how the car hunt goes and welcome aboard, Brian! The more 1stgen folk who join, the better!

Welcome to the club. I too have had relationship problems due to cars... So I resolved it by getting a girlfriend who I met at an Rx7 meet
