Hey guys. Looking to get my first project car - I've been doing research like crazy to see what I want and what I like, and while I've been told repeatedly by my only car-guru friend that rx7's are "the least reliable car in the world" and "it will be in the garage in pieces more than it is on the road", I can't help but think they look and sound awesome.

I'm not sure what model I want/need exactly - I'm hoping you guys can help with that! Looks like the 1st gens are the simpler, and I definitely want something I'll get to tinker with and modify to learn what the heck I am doing, both with cars in general and with rotory engines.

I live just east of Cincinnati and just had a new shop/garage built, so I'm ready to put something IN it. If there's anyone in the area who is good with this stuff and would let me bug them and/or help them so I can learn, I would be eternally grateful.
