hks f-con or be patient for power fc?

heres the goal. The car is mostly a weekend and drift only car and i am searching out roughly 300whp with a bnr stage2, walboro 255, npr ic, full exhaust, aem wideband and upgrade secondaries as needed.

currently the car is running only a racingbeat full exhaust, knightsport fcd. The npr will be installed within a month as well as the 255 pump and wide band and i will be itching to turn the boost up for competition. the original plan was this fall doing a power fc and tune but under time constraints and my cars power level not being competitive i have been searching out quicker options within my current budget.

So the basic question is will the hks fcon be enough to tie me over with roughly 10psi and intake and exhaust mods and fuel pump? i havent seen too much info to say they are crap or they are ok but i did find one for cheap. so whats the opinions?

Fcon can only be tuned from the hks dealer. if you trust ur hks dealer Fcon is a great ecu.

u can get a lot more support with the pfc though as its widely used and a lot of people tune it

agreed on the second comment as i will eventually move to that, however the hks f-con is adjustable on a small scale.

after doing some more reading the f-con i found is running a e-104 chip which i believe is for miatas while the s5 is an e149. anyone have any more info to prove or disprove this?

i thought the f-cons only adjusted via a screw setting from 1 to 9. or is this automaticly assume to be an F-con PRO?
how much is this ECU? i don't see why an Rtek wouldn't meet your power goals fairly easily.

I got a lady friend of mine in japan hunting one down for me as we speak.

If it's cheap enough, i'll tell her to scoop it up and i'll pay her back when she flies home and muck about with it some.
