1/4 mile on Turbonetics T04B single turbo

Help me out guys. Im in the process of buying a 93 Silver Rx7. The car has a Turbonetics T04B single turbo upgrade, aluminum flywheel, mazdamotorsports Heavy duty clutch, exhaust and downpipe. The owner tells me that the car is detuned for now and is only running 10psi and ran a 13.3 1/4.
You guys think something is wrong about this car? Is it possible, even with a crappy *** driver, with a single turbo upgrade running 10psi to be running only 13.3?? I would appreciate any response from you guys.

There's a guy in the Florida club running an XS manifold with a To4S and he's putting down about 360rwhp at 10psi. At 340rwhp, I'm able to run veeeery low 12 seond time slips. I'd say there's something wrong, he can't drive, or it isn't tuned. Hard to tell without seeing the car. At the very least, I'd have Mazda or a rotary specialist do a compression test and preferrably, go over the entire car.

I ran a 11.8 @ 116mph at 10lbs of boost so either something is wrong or the turbo is way undersized.

Ernie T,
When you ran the 11.8 with 10psi, was your car tuned?? Does tuning your car make that much of a difference???

If the timing is say 8 degrees retarded from what it should be and its running at 8:1 instead of 11:1 then it could be down 100Hp or more

Bro, tuning is everything.... Demetrios (Reactive Racing) and myself just got done tuning last night with his Motec wideband. Im now running 13.5 lbs of boost on a 10.8.1 fuel ratio. Some may say that is very rich, but my car loves it and rotaries love to run rich. Next week Im running at Capital Raceway. I hope to run a low 11 on drag radials. After that Demetrios and I will tune for 20lbs on race gas. I'll be mid to high 10's easily.

Man, I knew that tuning your car was important but i had no idea that it can make that much of a difference!! Im a little bit worried about buying this car. If the car just has to be tuned, no problem. But i hope nothings wrong with the car.
Im buying this car from a dealer called "CAR NU SUPERCARS," they are located in Philadelphia, PA. Im way over in the seattle, WA area, if any one can go and look at the car for me that would be awesome.

I was actually wrong on the A/F ratio I was tuned to. It was tuned to 11.4.1.....It was too rich at first so we had to lean it out a bit, but sill conservative...
