Sounds like a nice project...

Getting the engine into the chassis will probably be your easiest task. Use a GSL-SE front cover and mounting bracket to the stock crossmember.

Your decision on induction will make your project easy or hard dependent on which way you wanna go, carbed of fuel injected.

let me specify on the screw euro part, i bought a 02 vw jetta 1.8t as a daily driver just to get me around for school and work but long story short, way too much money put into it for so many stupid things breaking in the engine and body, yea yea i know it was used not the cars fault. but the money i used would of been money for my project :P lol. actually before finding the SA i was looking for an e30 but couldnt find anything ><;;

actually i read a post from kentetsu about the alumaseal and im going to try it out thursday and hope everything goes well with that. ive heard nothing but good things about it so im crossing my fingers. . if not ill be renting a tow dolly and bringing it back to my place friday. And about the sea foam. the guy im buying it from changed all the lines and changed all fluids so im not sure if i would need it. the smoke coming from the exhaust is white and smells like coolant.

Actually it was the car's fault... VWs are the biggest piles of dog poo ever made. Those things have tons of problems a year after they are purchased.

Wow! Great score! Getting a completely straight body is the second hardest task on these cars now!

What's the name and how the heck did you score this car??

pure luck i've been searching for months for a project car at the same time saving money. looking at anything i could get my hands on that was decent enough. 240s, e30, miatas, and out of the blue one night after looking at a real nice fb drive by i searched for rx7s under 2000 price range in craigslist and found this gem. posted the same day i searched, owned by an older couple who just needed the money and had it sitting in their lot for the past 10 years so that night i called em went the next day gave em a deposit and im going tomorrow to pick it up. Ill post the pics up asap!! too excited to get started lol
