Did I blow my coolant seals?
Did I blow my coolant seals?
Today my car started shooting out white smoke. A lot of white smoke. I stopped it and found out it was flooded. I replaced the spark plugs and it started running again. Now my car is moving but everytime I drive it, tons of white smoke comes out. Help?
Those are the classic symptoms of blown coolant seals. You can verify the preliminary diagnosis by taking a sample of your coolant to a radiator shop, who can do a chemical test for exhaust byproducts in the coolant. If they are there, the seals have failed.

Take off the coolant cap while cold. Start car and watch for bubbles. If you get a lot of bubbles your coolant seals are done. EDIT: Does your car over heat what so ever? What year and model? Because the temp gauge works slightly better for S4 models.
