It is definitely not a 78. Unless someone changed the bumpers, taillights, and rear emblems! 77 & 78 were RX3SP's!

Ahh, nice to be missed Took a few years off to finish college, girlfriend, etc... Driving a F-150 for towing/track right now, need to rebuild my 929 engine first thing, then the white vert.

Thinking about a cheap 4cyl+4seat vert for puttin' around the SouthEast right now, any suggestions? Foxbody 4cyl, not cavalier vert, sunfire vert???

rebuild the 929 engine? You know Chris over at RP still has a four-rotor kit...

I always preferred the sunfire to the cavalier, but they're both POS. Think Mustang, Camaro, but I don't think a 4cyl is an option unless you're talking '79-82 or so in the Ford (gee, I coulda had a V-8 !). Or spend more and get a Mini.

See ya soon,
T

Is that out of New Zealand, or some new supplier? Last I heard the NZ kit tolerances were not consistent, and even good ones required rebalancing and some machining. But they were real 1 piece, not 2 piece.

Chris said his 4-rotor "kits" are original Mazda, "new old stock" as they say. rx7.com. They're not listed on the site, but if you really want one, call 'em :-)

Lord knows what he wants for one...
