How much you think a 0 mile banzai can sell for?

I just saw the black banzai pettit has and wants to sell. Apparently the car is BRAND NEW. The bottom of car does not have a speck of dust in ANY part of it. Personally I think the asking price of 80k is a little high, but i just wanted to see if you guys agree or not.

why pay 80 for their car, when for ~35K, you can do it to your own....and feel a greater since of accomplichment, it there is such a thing for someone else doing the work..

If you ask me, I would never buy that car for 80k. Its a nice car and all but its not YOUR car. You never gave that car Tender Loving Care. You never saw it grow. Just go out and look for a stock rx7 and then build it.

I think 60K would be a better price 10-15k for the car, 35k-40k for the conversion.

Is that 0-miles (or next to nothing miles) on the engine or the entire car?

I would imagine a car with less than 1000 miles on the frame and the Banzai coversion would run about $80k.

You'd have to figure about $28k or so for the car, then about $40k for the conversion. Then anything else Pettit did (outside of the conversion, interior changes) and the rarity of the car...

Would I pay it? Nope, but that doesn't mean that the car isn't worth it...

I just don't think 80k is a realistic number for that car. From what i saw the car is 100% new or nearly new. As in EVERY BOLT is shiny. It is a BEAUTIFUL car and the engine is a 0 mile engine, but 80k? I agree with the 60k figure as a more earthly figure.

Lets not forget too that he took THE banzai to the auction in Ft. Lauderdale (or somewhere around there) several months ago before the new paint job and flares (I think), and the bidding went up to $70K, but he was looking for $80 so it didn't sell. That black car he has can't even be described in words about how clean it is. EVERYTHING on that car is perfect and brand new. I could definetely see it going for around $80K, and would buy it in a heartbeat if I had the money and was looking for a car around that price range.

Mid 60's? Base price with no options is $69k on those:

http://reports.intellichoice.com/rep...E=BMW&MODEL=M5

After actually getting equipment on them, and getting on a waiting list, the price is much more to actually "get" one.

I'll have to agree with Sean, I'll get a 03 M5. I mean it's nice to have a brand new 3 rotor rx7 but I'll keep my current rx7 and go with the luxury.

you guys are missing the point. you would buy this car and keep it brand new, maybe in your living room as a decoration piece, not drive it around like some m5 you picked up at the local dealer.
