who has got the MS to work with a 20b?

The engine is in the car (sorta). The MS is built, but setup for a 13b. It's about time for me to start figuring this out.

I have read through the other threads in this section pertaining to the 20b, but only found people in the same boat I am in now. Did any of you get it to work?

Did we ever get code for the trailing split?

I've not written the code for trailing split on a 20B yet.

You can easily run leading only by setting up as a v6 wasted spark. I'll look at what it might take to add 20b COP support to ms2/extra tonight if I get time.

MS3 will have support for up to 4 rotors in a COP config for revision 2.0 of the firmware (once I have the angleclock code done).

So I should just be looking at the same setup as the 13b accept i will set it up for v6.

not exactly. You'd use the 3 LEDs, but each would drive a single coil which would fire leading on each one of the rotors.

D14 is rotor1, D16 is rotor2, and D15 is rotor 3 (assuming 1-2-3 firing order). You also wouldn't turn on rotary mode as that only supports 2-rotor engines at the moment.

Once I add support for 3-rotor trailing you'd set up as a 6 cylinder and turn on rotary mode.

I haven't checked out any of the new versions lately, I didn't even know there was a rotary mode.

Do you have ms1 or ms2?

I'd recommend ms2/extra with 2.1.0 on there to begin with. That's where I'm semi-actively coding right now (planning 2.1.1). I'm more active on ms3 right now, but then only a few people have that (eage8 is running it now on his 2nd gen).

How hard is it for me to get a MS3? I wouldn't mind being a beta tester

Well, you'd have to have something that's not already covered by a beta tester..

Unfortunately, if you have a 2-rotor it's already covered by me and eage8 (NA and turbo respectively).

Yeah mines 2 rotor. My car is daily driven however. I put a good 300kms on MS2 each week. I still think I would find faults you 2 would miss

I don't daily drive mine, but eage8 has been daily driving his since his daily driver blew up (over revved an engine that didn't have a revlimiter and bent a valve).

We've actually already found a few issues. The day I put it on my car, I found 4 or 5 issues and fixed them as well.

So we're not having any trouble finding and fixing issues.

If you have something on your engine that makes it unique I might be able to make a case for sending you an ms3 to use. If I can't make the case, you still might be able to get in on the initial beta testing (instead of alpha which is what we're doing now). You'd have to pay for the ms3 then though.

when your ready I would like to give MS3 a try if a 3 rotor with a T70 is unique enough.

The only thing non standard really would be my injectors in the IDA style throttle body. Whats the MS3 upgrade worth atm in $USD?

I do not actually know what they are going to charge when they open up the beta.

I can probably get one for a 3-rotor once we start testing the ms3x expander board.
