hello i'm Mouglie, i own two miaters and i'm considering loading one of them up with a t2 tranny and differential. I've been redirected to this site for the classifieds, some fabricating will need to be done to fit the tranny but i'm up for it.

 

Nothing like over-the-top engine swaps to make gearheads all over the world proud.

thanks for the warm welcome. i do have alot of questions but i'll read first. as for the engine swap, i have thought about it but i've invested too much money into my 1.6 engine that i'll stick with it to get the most out of it for now.

ok here is my current transmission, 5 speed, works fine but only one problem: i run out of gears. i redlined 5th gear at about 137 or so.



i know the bell housing is different from the t2 tranny, an adapter plate will be made as well as a tranny mount. the starter is on the opposite side as well as the slave cylinder location.

 

5th post, time to look at classifieds for trannys...

oh last picture to make this post relevant to the forum, i mentioned i luv rx7s, i'm adding turn signals and the rear tail lights to my car but custom brackets have to be made first, heres just a pic of the empty engine bay with one light in place.
