If you want custom kits i can make them and copy other kits

Any parts you name it I can make it exactly the same as the originals, in poley, or carbon fiber starting only at $450 for front bumpers. Any other parts we can negotiate. We can get them in any color too.
If you are interested give me a call.

Nick 435-229-3983

P.S.-If anybody can supply me with originals to borrow there is compisation in it for the person.

Question Poly as in Poly Eurathane?

How about Mazdaspeed GT front bumber and side skirts, ah and maybe rear side skirt deals or rear bumber. I beleive that's the GT, the one with the tinted plastice turn & parking light covers.

I don't think it would be a very good idea to make a hood out of poly eurathane. Heat usually makes it sag.

I'm not interested in this but there was a big big interest in a '99 spec copy bumper with the shaved plate holder in poly-eurethane but no one has produced it yet. Also people have been looking for '99 spec wing copys, I believe 65imp has one in production though. But you could possibly do one in CF.

just fyi: i think the real 99 spoiler is made out of fiberglass. i have one and it is not really flexible at all.

Lets make some Poly doors! No more door dings

A stock 99 spec wouldn't be a great idea because you can already get it from MazdaComp for that price, but without the plate holder would be a good idea.

I definitely would buy a 1999 bumper with the license plate holder covered over smooth. You can get just the original bumper for about $800. I would pay $500 for the copy. But you have to prove yourself first before any one will take the plunge. I'd say that there at least 100 members out there ready to update their front end so it would be a good investment to jump in.

The problem is that he needs someone to buy the "original" of whatever they are going to copy.

I see people wanting copies, but no one wanting to purchase an original so they can make the mold.

Typically, that cost is eaten by the person making the copies though, as an investment into his/her product in hopes to make the money back with sales of the replica...

Cobalt, You can order just the polyurethane bumper skin from www.mazdaspeedmotorsports.com . All you need is the actual bumper skin. You don't need to order the lights, reinforcement, or any other parts. This is from the mazda comp website:

F138-50-031A C COVER, FRONT BUMPER 1 RX-7 TT ANY 1993-95 $343.10

Notes: From Japanese Model 99-00 RX-7. Larger air intakes and lights than U.S. spec bumper. Requires '99 bumper reinforcement, and combination lamps.

If you purchase the bumper skin you don't pay shipping, only tax. And then you can make the bumper without the front license plate holder. I'm sure you'll make alot of money, I personally would buy one if it fit properly and looked nice.

goodluck,
eric
