Can wheels be widened?

I want to get RP01 17 x 9 for the rear and have them widened to 9.5 or 10"

I heard some places does that

Has anyone heard anything about it?

I know you can widen 3 piece wheels, but I don't think you could safely widen 1 pieces....

I would have to agree with fluxen. That enkei as you know is a monopiece and welding metal onto it will not work. And it would be to expensive to make a 9.5" mold, melt down your 9 and then add more alloy. Just ain't gonna' happen. Sorry bro.

don't they make them in 9.5? I thought that's what I have. I do know that I have 275/35/18 tires in the rear and they look perfect

That is the perfect size since I can fit A032R on there without rubbing.

Why don't you get the SSR wheels? They look very close and are light too and better quality. They cost more but.... Hey arn't you rich?

Talking

Where im from u can widen any wheel u want to widen, just cut in half, and put more metal in there, places here do it cheaply too. This might reduce the strength ofcourse but if it never breaks in half who cares
