Any Manual Steering FD's in Chicagoland area?

I am thinking of ditching my PS but was wondering if there was anyone in the Chicago area that I could come test drive to see if I like it? I really don't want to make my car less streetable but just don't like the feel of the PS.

PM me if you would let me take a 5 min drive, I can bring my seven and afterward we can go for a cruise.

the only time youll have an issue with it is parking. low/no wheel movement tends to make it rough, otherwise its all fine.

lol i would love to Test drive an fd
too bad i haven't actually seen one before =[

but on powersteering, it doesn't really matter if you have it when your driving, just parking is kind of a pain for some, wasn't for me on my subaru [prob cause it was about a 2lb car and i got some arms on me =D]

As soon as I find an ECU, I'll let you get a feel for it. It's great. No regrets and I'd do it again without question.

I do realize that it is mainly going to be tuff at low speed but I want to see how hard. I use to have an old toyota pickup without PS and it wasn't too bad. I also want to see if you get a lot more road real at speed which is the main reason I want to ditch it.

Railgun- How long till you think your car will be back on the road?

As long as it'll take me to find one. All I need to do is toss in the map and I'm good to go. It could be as early as this weekend.

I also have a Manual steering FD. Can't drive it though lol...as it's inoperable at the moment. If you do a full conversion (not looped) it's actually not bad at all moving even at low speeds. Road feel is definitely improved as well.
