so basically im putting in my new clutch at DKs house today... basically trying to turn it into a kick back/meet for no reason other than its the middle of the day on a tuesday and we're rotary heads so we can lol... whatevers PM me if your down to help us out

Hmm I think I'm going to change my clutch at dkwasherexd house sometime too. Since the only way I know how to do it alone is pulling the motor. Which is actually what I did last time.

Daniel's house is the work shop/sweat shop lol

 

lol yeah thats the super long way lol... but its true his house is like a shop i helped him with his diff last time lol

 

It took me an hour? only 10 bolts. 8 motor to tranny and 2 solid motor mounts.

 

hmmmm true... but your pulling it all out rather than just dropping the tranny and putting it back in.. only hard or tricky part is putting it back in lol

 

cant be any harder then a 240sx tranny took me and one other guy and hour and a half it seemed to take it out on a lift

 

never speak of a 240 tranny to me again... took us 8 hours to do a clutch job on one because of your stupid oval hole for your round tranny lol... and than we had to replace the master and slave cylenders

 

sounds to me like you just didnt know what you were doing man. hahaha im kidding!
they are a huge PITA

 

helllooo! yeah hes coming to my house right now.. We should be able to get the tranny out and clutch in in like 2hours? but the hard part is putting the tranny back in.. Its a bitch!!! I had to do it by myself last time, and took like 8 hours!!!
Should be 10x easier and faster tho with 2ppl, just trying to see if anyone wants to help.

what a mess

 

my garage is a jungle. there is a 2ft long rat that lives in there too! I named the rat charlie!!! everytime I open the garage door I get aquick glimpse of charlie running away, and he eats all the boxes and cupnoodles, and leftovers.. Yeah me and acid angel are gunna catch it one day with a net and put the rat in a big plastic tub and make it our pet muahhahaa
