If you have fuel, spark and compression it will start. A bit of oil in the chambers will bring compression up after sitting.

I am getting fuel to the injectors but I do not think they are opening I have put fuel into the intake after using the method to clear out a flooded engine and it runs for about 3 seconds then it dies. I was wondering if the ECM was bad....all my fuses have checked out good.

Make sure the injector resistor pack is plugged in.

Check for 12V at the injectors with the key set to RUN.

Crank Angle Sensor.

FYI, you can find common acronyms in the 2nd gen FAQ.

I ohmed out my injectors at 13.6 ohms each which is too high for that year model, given it is bone stock. I changed the MAF from my turboII and the car had a ecm sitting in the passenger seat when I got it so I swapped it too. After putting fuel down the intake and replacing the intake tube I fired it over. The car will run as long as i continue to feather the throttle, as soon as it comes back down to an idle it shuts off and will not restart on its own. WTF do I do now?

Aaron, Hanman, I checked the voltage at the injectors and it has source voltage, and the resistor pack checked out ok and has a good connection.
