S5 injectors VS. S4 injectors

im pretty sure that the S5 will work in my S4 N/A. But im not positive and just wanted some opinions. So let me know if the injectors are universal or what will need to be done. Oh and does anyone know what a REW swap is?

they will not.
theres an impedence issue between the two of them IIRC
Searching in the 2nd gen section should pull up your answer.

Ben is half right, earlier s-4 injectors have low impendance like 2-4 ohms June 87 and up have high impendance like 12-14 ohms and will swap out with all S-5 injectors just dont throw in turbo ones.
REW swap is a short for reliable engine works, typically its when people give up and put in a LS-1 or ford 302.

Remember to check your new injectors with an ohm meter.

besides the posible early year impedance difference , s4 and s5 have different style connectors. so they will not plug in, s4 has a square plug, s5 has more of an oval shaped connector.

For the impedance you could just remove the resistor pack when you move to the high imp injectors. Won't solve the connector difference though.
