Hey from New Zealand

Hey Guys,

Well i'm Jarrod - been viewing these forums and reading mountains of threads & articles for about the last year and finally decided that I should sign up to post as I will hopefully be asking a few more questions as I get more involved into my latest rx7 build

I'm not new to rotaries (owned a ke25 coupe and been around them alot due to the rota culture over here) and i've owned my rx7 for about 2 years now.

I have a JDM of the FD3S
1997 Mazda RX-7 Efini (Type-RB Bathurst Edition)

Includes the limited red leather seats and red carpets
And of course painted in the only color a bat can be...black

Imported almost stock standard, heres a list of what i've done so far.
Also some pics, though they are a bit old and the car has had some changes inside and out since they were taken. It's currently in the workshop having some fixes & mods done but i'll be sure to get up some new pics when I get it back in early January

Mods:
NGK High-spark Leads
NGK BUR7 Spark Plugs
Mazdaspeed Gauge Cluster (10k rpm/300k speedo/etc..)
Mazdaspeed Strutbars (front & rear)
3" Exhaust system with bigbore (unsure of make, came when imported)
2.75" HKS Intercooler Pipe Kit
APEXi twin pod filters
APEXi AVC-R Boost Controller
GReddy Boost Gauge
Greddy Oil Press Gauge
Gauges mounted on pillar
Charcoal tints all around
Momo Jet Black racing wheel
RX-8 Shift **** (Rota shaped) & shift boot
ACT 6-Puk Heavy Duty button clutch (600ftlb)
ACT Lightened Chromoly Flywheel
ACT Flywheel Counterweight

ICE:
Alpine IVA-D105E DVD Headunit
Rainbow SLC265 components
Soundstream 500w amp
12" Rainbow Hammer sub
AVS S5 Alarm + GPS

yeah man there are a few of us on here
but we do have a huge number of the JDM rx7's which is probably why!

I'm looking forward to getting back to New Zealand next week and getting the bat back on the road! Will be getting hold of a few little things (like a new hub kit) just to make it street legal again.

Jan-Mar plan is to get the new ECU in the car, dual bosch pumps & upgraded fuel rail & injectors then fit a 3" HKS Exhaust system from the turbo
