hey everybody
im new to the rx7 scene, i love the car, im never selling it and i was hoping i could get some help from some fellow mazda owners

so i currently got a rx7 from my pops..but its been sitting in the garage for years..and it does not run at all...i was wondering if you guys could just mention the 'main reasons' why it would not run....i already put gas, the battery is okay, but please state reasons why else it would not turn on...thanks to everyone

U'll get some more help if u post what year, and pretty much what kinda issues u might be having. i mean when u turn the key does the engine atleast try and turn over? does it turn on but cut off after a few seconds? that kinda info would help u out a lot better.

we'll need more info on the car and if you can best describe what the specific problems you are having are. year, trim level, mileage, known problems, condition, and modifications are always things that we need to know as well.

its a 1987 rx7 non turbo
when i turn the key, i can see the fan move and i can the feel the car wanting to turn on, but it just doesn't...there are no mods on it, completely stock

Do you get any poping sound like it's trying start?

Or do you only hear the starter turning it over?

Did it run before it sat and how long has it sat?
