will 550cc/1600cc injectors work for 400whp?

will 550cc/1600cc injectors work for 400whp? According to an online calculator with this setup i would achieve 400whp at 62% duty cycle. It states that are about 4000rpm it may stomble. is this true? how can it be corrected? it is true that with 850cc primaries i would have trouble iding with a power fc?

i am thinking of buying the extreme fuel system from rx7store that comes with the 1600cc injectors, rails, clips, fuel regulator, etc..... i have a 255lph walbro pump. would i need to upgrade pump?

i had the 550/1600 combo and did 400rwhp on a mustang (450) dynojet at abotu 80% injector duy, tryed to push a few more psi and high 100% ID. i just go rid of mine and went 1kcc and 1600cc injector combo. if the tuner is willing ot spend the time to mess with the idel it wont be to bad.

The 550/1600cc combo will support mid 400's. Its the walbro pump that will struggle

Jason so the extreme fuel kit from rx7 store will hold the horses but the pump must be replaced. how about twin pumps? or maybe a denso supra pump?

is the fuel kit plug and play? do i have to buy additional parts?

You don't need twin pumps to have 400 rwHP. Buy a Denso Supra pump and your more then good. I bought mine from here...

I had 416rwhp on my first setup on 550's and 1680's. I had the supra pump installed because I wanted to be sure. I'm pretty confident that a walbro 255 and a re-wire job would support 400whp...

yes 550/1600cc will support over 400 hp. and as the guy above stated the walbro pump rewired should be fine for you. It's easy to rewire the pump, shouldnt take more then 10 mins or so.
