CAS Noise?

sounds to me like a vac leak or you're trying to get the car to idle while on a relatively steeply sloped part of the VE table (and the throttle is propped open too far). If it were CAS noise i think you'd be seeing the RPMS jumping around a lot more on MS. Do FB's have their tach's triggered off of the trailing coil in the same way FC's do?

 

Yep, I'm triggering from leading coil -ve I think, but trailing is working.

Well, the timing was out by one tooth advanced, no wonder it was pinging at 2k rpm. There was a steep slope in the VE there, and yes the idle speed is high to keep it running. But I think, MAYBE with the noise fix, getting the timing spot on, it might idle, HERES hoping. I will get a new movie if it smooths out.

EDIT: Installing my PCB software again, I'm fairly happy there are no problems. The efan and 2nd trigger input are working on MS2 extra 1.0.2, can't test the boost control but I will just put the default circuit there and hope it works.
