Wondering if any of us in the area would like to get together and take over a range at some point.

I recently got my CCW, now it's time to go shopping for a gun.

From what I've read, Montgomery County requires you to purchase and consume all ammunition at the range...

I know there's the NRA range out on Route 66 in VA where it intersects with Route 50...

 

I'm definitely down! I am a member of Gilbert Small Arms Range down in Lorton, VA. It's not as nice as the NRA range, but it does the job. You can bring your own ammo and handguns. No rifles though. Decent rental handgun selection too. I guess if we wanted to shoot rifles we would have to head over to the NRA range or other range.

 

I'm most likely down, but need a "When" and a "Where"

 

We get more people in here and then we decide on when and where...

We have all of three people at the moment. If we plan on three people and then all of a sudden twenty show up, it'll be kinda crowded at the range.

 

I looked it up, some of the ranges in MC do what you said, others don't. It's up to the range. IWL does not, Gilbert Guns does (as I've heard)

 

Hell yeah I am down. I have yet to meet anyone on the forum anyway.

Damn, I have not been shooting in over a year. Thats going to be rough first few targets.
