What: West side meet up for anyone who wants to show up. A nice alternative to driving out to Dallas every weekend. Also, to step away from the Beach Street douchebagary while still having a decent sized meet up.

Trying to get a new weekly meet together. Also trying to get a big group together without the high school stupidity that seems to permeate Beach Street. You know, no sitting there bouncing the engine of the rev limiters, burnouts in the parking lot, anything like that. Still working out a cruise, or if we even want to do one. The location is right off I20, in a big, well lit parking lot. There are a ton of places to eat right there if you want to eat then cruise. This weekly meet is going to get pretty big I think. There are a ton of people in the DFW that want to meet up. This parking lot is big and should have plenty of space for people.

What's really funny is that everyone in Dallas is all pissy about having meets close to them; and when we do they don't end up coming.

Nope, to far. **** it. I have no problem going out to the Dallas area for meets, but a little bit of Ft. Worth love is nice to. What people bitching at me about this don't understand is it will take me just as long to get here as it would a Dallas area meet.

 

Yea, I moved to Arlington, so it really is no biggie for me; but my peeps still live in the funk, so it's nice to crusie the ole stompin grounds and see the place again.

Drink specials, not sure. I was just gonna get some of the cajun or hawaiin wings at Wing Stop. If you want to do a cruise, then I can put a good one together. How far do you want to go? Do you just want to roll to a bar, or do some driving? Just off the top of my head, most places Down Town charge covers. Don't know Arlington as far as bars/drinking establishments go. Best way to park Down Town would be to crash a garage.

I think we're gonna cruise a little later than 9. Maybe more like 9:30ish....

 

I'm putting together a cruise route right now. The Library has been recommended to me by several coworkers. In order to get some breathing room, I'm thinking leave just after 9, say 9:15 or 9:30. Last one buys first round sounds like a plan to me.

 

50 mile run should work, the place we are meeting, is there food there?

 

Where we are meeting there is food. There is a Wingstop there that we might hit up. I think we are going to cruise to down town Fort Worth and hit up The Library for drinks after.

 

I'm leaning towards Flying Saucer. There is a cover, but they have food and drink specials, and its right in the middle of Down Town, so we can park close but still be in the garage. I'll have three route options here shortly. I'd like to have them decided on tonight, and I'll start spreading it around tomorrow.
