Stock FD driving lights, any good?

Yo
I have an opportunity to pick up some OE FD lights which I would in turn put on my project 1st gen. Are these lights any good or do they suck mucho ***? Also, what kind of beam do they throw out there?
Thanks

They're worthless. They throw out the weakest light I've ever seen. You can try upgrading to a higher wattage bulb, as I've heard some have. But don't go too high, or you may have to worry about melting the plastic housing or the wiring. I think the stock bulb is 25w (I'd have to check on that). I think some have upgraded to a 55w bulb. I can't say whether that has caused any problems or not.

PS Don't forget to get all the mounting hardware that comes with the lights.

About all there good for is maybe to be used as a rock. It would be nice if Mazda would make a lens of the driving type instead of the fog type. They Suck.

my brother is running 85/80 watt piaa lamps in his car and it seems to be fine.
