Stupidity Reaches New Heights!
Ok i had to post this...
if any of you read Import Tuner, you may have seen this.
Apparently this kid, owns a 98 Audi 1.8T, and wanted to get some extra performance out of it, So instead of actually going with an intake or exhaust or something, he decided to port and polish the heads. He found on the net that he should use a gritty sand.
So he got a friend, someone who apparently works on Honda's to give him a hand. They got a bag of sandblasting media, and attached it to his intake and started up the car. Somehow he thought that it would flow through the intake valve and out the exhaust valve polishing them both. His friend told him it would be fine as long as the turbo didnt spool and suck sand into it.
He somehow got a half a bag of sand into the engine before the check engine light came on and it "started bucking and kicking and sounding weird". So they stopped the car (the only smart thing these idiots did) and took the bag off. They (even more stupidity) started the car back up and drove it around trying to figure out why it was scraping knocking and couldnt hold an idle.
his plea says this "My buddy only works on honda's so he doesnt know much about audis"
apparently his buddy doesnt know jack **** about CARS let alone Audis....
Import Tuner's reply was "Wow. We're not even going to touch this one..."

That's been all over the web multiple times. I've even seen the original post here. I can't believe the story is real. NO ONE could be that stupid...
