Please take a look at my current tune
Can someone download this and take a look at it and let me know where I can improve on it?
The car is running just fine now except I'm getting some exhaust popping on decel like it's running way rich, but I don't know.
Let me clarify a little. This tune was set up by they guy who works on my car, not me. I do not have a datalogit, but he does. He did some tuning on it with my current mods. I just want to know if there is room for improvement.
Renamed the .dat file and added the .doc extension to get it uploaded.

how much boost are you running? He basically reduced the split significantly, 9 or 10 degrees in many cells. Also, when you remove emissions stuff you're likely going to get those popping sounds.

Thanks guys! This is why I love this forum!
I'm running stock boost with the stock twins. I've just added the mods in the sig.
Can someone explain to me a little more about what the IGT (split) is and why it's dangerous. Also, if I'm running the car like this, what shouldn't I be doing with it while this map is on there?
I'm having some more work done on the car soon, just adding drilled rotors, lowering springs, and painting the calipers. I'll ask him about it and see if he can change it up.
Thanks for your guys help! I really appreciate it!

Personally I would not drive the car at all with this map.
Without getting into to much detail IGL and IGT control when the spark plugs fire. The Split is the duration between when the leading and trailing plugs fire. You should never have a negative split, it means the trailing plug is firing before the leading. This is very bad as it sends the flame front the wrong direction. The trailing plug is there more for emissions clean up than combustion.
Although there are several schools of thought on the subject most agree a maximum of 10 for the split with a minimum of 0 while in the power band.
Actually 15 split is stock but too retarded.
0 - 3 split is for NA engines, or idle and low boost for turbo engines.
12-8 split is for boost with 8 being HOT.
Use 3 split from P1 - through P11. Than start increasing spit so by P15 split is 10.
Then use what is safe and good, 10 - 12.
I have used 8 split for revs above 6000rpm on a stock motor.

Ok, so the next question is...
Is there any reason at all why he would tune the car like this? Is what he did all around bad or does anyone know there is some good in what this looks like?
Not saying I don't trust you guys, but there has to be some reason he did what he did. The car runs great right now, I don't get an hesitations at any speeds or anything wierd going on, so I'm just asking the question.
Thanks again for all the help!

Twokrx7 and I were the first to really push for controlling split and smooth split on this forum.
Even some of the famous tuners on this site were still ignoring split when they changed IGL. If you change IGL you also have to change IGT to maintane split.
But they finally "got the message".
Even the original and current maps on the PFC have screwed up split.
IGNORANCE!
