FD Genuine Parts - Where to Buy

I'm in Australia and finding new parts is a pain in the butt. Mazda dealers here either have no stock, or they charge like a wounded bull. Any suggestions on a supplier that ships internationally would be appreciated.

Right now, I need a water temp sender. To be able to grab the fische and select a part number and order something online would be cool (I think I'm dreaming).

One complication I have is that my 7 is right hand drive.

Call Ray Crowe at 1-888-533-3400 and see if he can ship internationally. He goes out of his way to help RX-7 owners, so see what he can do for you.

I don't know. Even with Malloy... by the time you factor in shipping costs you may want to make friends with one of those wounded bulls. Possibly an OEM supplier in Japan?

Never buy OEM Mazda parts from a Mazda dealer in AUS. They will rip you off. Most of their part is like double the price of that in Japan.

E.g Mazda dealer quoted me $114 per pillow ball bushing, Mazda Jap charges somewhere close to $50. To add further insult they do not take orders over the phone. You must come down to the dealer and pay for it which is a PITA when you don't have time.

Added to that, as soon as you mention 'import' and 'RX7' in the same sentence, they don't want to know you. Regardless of whether you have the part number ready to quote, they just don't care.

If you MUST buy from Mazda AUS, call the Mazda dealer in North Parramatta in Sydney and ask for David. He is probably the only person I know who won't hang up on you and will sort you out.

Alternatively try www.rhdjapan.com - they are very good.

Search these forums for cheap buys in the states. Sometime people are parting out their cars and prices are great. Postage isnt that much.
