springs?

 

I am pretty sure RSR Race springs lower the car the most without using coilovers.

 

The most drop I've seen was Intrax for 2" down. Everybody else seems to be 1.4" to 1.8" If you want more than that I'm pretty sure you have to get coilovers. My coilovers will go down to the point of putting the top bead of the rim inside the wheel opening ( looks stupid that low too ).

 

Lowering the car as much as possible is stupid. All you're doing is messing up the suspension geometry and reducing travel, which will have a negative effect on handling. Anything more than ~1.5" lower than stock is pointless unless it's for show ****. If you want a lowrider, you bought the wrong sort of car...

Anything more than about 1" lower in the rear and you'll have tons of negative camber that will need to be taken out, and it's not adjustable stock. You'll need an adjustable subframe rod, Flatout-Motorsports has the cheapest on car adjustable one last time I checked. I've got it and it's good.

If you want to do performance driving then in front you'll want coilovers so that you can use camber plates to be able to adjust camber. You can use crash bolts, but they can and do slip and it can compromize wheel to suspension clearance.

Lowering as much as possible does have some advantages, like a lower CG and less weight transfer, but you need to get very much stiffer and re-work the geometry to get the most out of the car. In most cases it's best to keep the lowering sane to avoid problems.

 

well i have tien s-tech springs on this same car its a 90 na but i have 18x8 rims and man i had to do alot of **** for them not to rub haha i havent really driven the can much since i did take it to a cupple shows and it was fine but the drop turned into an inch and a half drop too low with the rims but if they were 18x7 with a different offset than i got they would work perfectly.i had to put weelspacers in and might have to get some of my fender rolled. i would recoment not using springs if you can.

 

Eibach sport kit is about a 2" drop...almost too low. Especially if you like any amount of comfort. Pro kit is about a 1-1.5" drop
