what wideband to buy next.

After putting up with this LC-1 (Innovative unit) craping out on me evrytime I get into loging or tuning I think I bought my last sensor for it. I know some have this unit and love it but its not working out for me. So which one to buy next? I do want it to be able to work with the datalogit (beige) and would be nice if it had the newer style gauge (round) to fit in my pillar. Any suggestion?

I have the NGK, works great but doesnt fit in round gauge pods. My only problem is I wish it had a 1V output so I could run it into the stock O2 sensor line.

Brian, what sensor comes with this? The cheap bosch or the nice NGK? I see it listed at $300?/

Can it be wired to a differant gauge?

My issue really seems to be the bosch sensor failing with the temps. Can another sensor be used in place? That would be the cheapest and easiest thing for me.

It comes with the NTK L1H1 or L2H2; the same sensor I use. Very hardy!

I'm not trying to knock on any particular kind of wide-band unit, but I've found that those that use the Bosche sensors aren't accurate alot of the times. I've had customers with Innovative, AEM, and a couple others that've used the Bosche sensor and their numbers were way off as well as response time. The way I figure it, there's got to be a difference in terms of quality and overall hardiness between a $75 sensor and a $200-$400 one. One case in point -- I used my piddly PLX M200 w/ NTK L2H2 sensor to re-calibrate a sensor that was used on a dyno at a shop, once. Yep you guessed it; Bosche sensor.

The Bosche sensor has seemingly made personal widebands cheaper and much easier to acquire than in days past (they aren't prohibitively expensive anymore), but at what cost? I'm not a fan of them and I don't think they are a good choice as it's something that requires critical precision for tuning.

well I called sparkplugs.com as you sent me the link and they told me it came with the bosch sensor for $300.00 so it would be another $200 for that sensor on top? Can you confirm? I guess in short my goal is a wideband that will work with the datalogit and hold up to leaded race gas abuse. Even if I move the bosch downstream as suggested by Innovative Co. I still know it will crap out on race gas.

Thanks for the heads-up. I haven't sold anything on eBay in quite awhile and I think my account is off. I probably ought to remove it for the time being.

Evidently the sensor is included in the package.

SO who is the best FJO dealer? I like the one BDC posted up but I do want a round style gauge for display rather than the old school square one.

I check Titian Motorsports and it looked to be over $700 for a single channel, NTK sensor, round guage with extension cable. This seem fair?

The cheapest I found the NTK sensor was for $175 online and that was after shopping for a couple of weeks.
