Exclamation Need a favor, fellas...

Hey guys,

I'm going down to New Jersey sometime in the next few weeks to have my car tuned for my setup, but I have a little problem atm... I'm putting in 4x850cc injectors this weekend, but my map(which wasn't mine in the first place, just borrowed until I could get a tune) was meant for stock setup(which was what I was GOING to stick with). I'm hoping that someone can help me out by letting me borrow a map until I can get down there for a tune. The map would have to be for the mods listed below. All I'm waiting on is a call from a certain moderator so I can shoot down and get it tuned...

Thanks a million! ~A-Rod

Use the commander to change the primaries to 850 per the manual, and use lag to lean out the idle. Then drive it below 4 psi boost and you will not have not problem.

If this is foreign to you, start searching!

I knew about this option, but the map I'm using that was supposed to be for my application is so crappy, I really would like to put something else in there for the long drive down.

I'll defer to chuck on all of this as he is much more versed in the pfc than I.

Go into the injector setting and change it to 850cc and 68%. Should work for the time being. I'll let you know about the tuner, should be within the next month.

You did buy a PFC which is user friendly, you need to start using and learning it.
There are many post on how to adjust idle and cruise which is all you need for now.

I knew about changing the settings, my problem was the old map I am using is not working with my mods very well. I was hoping for someone with a similar map to help me out, since if I change these settings, the car will still run like ****.

Amen. I keep waking the poor guy up with my calls. I happen to work the graveyard shift, so when I'm getting ready for bed, after a long night of thinking about my car, he's just waking up, if he's lucky.

But despite my inconvenient calls and constant questions and concerns, he always treats me like a person which is more than can be said about at least 75% of the other rotary builders in this country. Thanks Rich and Ihor(though Ihor doesn't get the calls like Rich does, he still does a bang up job for us)
