I'd love to have some moral support (as well as an extra set of hands) to help out with this car. I do have a lot of friends who help with the basics but the rotary is lost on them. If anyone's willing to help I could pay for travel expenses, etc. Whatever you need basically. I'm just looking for someone who's gone through the pains of RX7 ownership and is willing to help out a newb
. I hope I'm not asking for much.

I'm now in urgent need of someone, it sounds like I have busted something in the engine bay as I hear an insane amount of squeaking (a rotor test done yesterday turned out good) and the car is a bitch to keep in gear. If I can't find help or fix it myself within the month I may just sell it off for parts.

It's about two hours north of the GTA, in the Muskoka region. My family owns a small B&B here so I'd be happy to trade someone a free vacation for some help. The website for the place is http://www.portageinn.com.
if you were closer I'd be more than willing to come by.. but a 7 hour drive is pretty big.
The trasmission issue is weird. It won't stay in gear without you holding the lever?
I'd assume if that's the case the transmission needs to be rebuilt or replaced.
