repairing an oil cooler?
repairing an oil cooler?
I have a leaky oil cooler on my FC that needs to be fixed (can't afford to replace it). Are there any good shops in the East Bay that repairs aluminum oil coolers?
How much would it be around to get a used cooler? Unfortunately, none of the junkyards around the area seems to have an RX7. Even more unfortunate, I just replaced my 2 front cats and now have a huge dent in my wallet

In that case, looks like it's ebay/classifieds for me...
I did some searching on the forums already, but couldn't really find a good writeup and removing and installing a new oil cooler. How hard is it? This is probably a dumb question, but do I have to drain all the oil out of the car before taking out the oil cooler?

I can sell you one $50 shipped to you. And you Don't have to drain all the oil, there will be some oil in the lines and cooler, but most of it will be in the oil pan.
PM me if you want it.

look.....................................like i said earlier.
u can take that **** off just run a single oil line from front to rear to bypass oil cooler.
this can save you time and MONEY.
if money is the problem, this route is the best..........period.

I bet you know how much every single part goes for at the junkyard.
