I am in Saitama Pref. not to far from Tsukuba, Nikko, and Mobara Circuits.
Also about an hour north of Tokyo.

I am near Tokyo Disneyland

I have a Wide Advan+RE-A+Feed+Pan++ FD3s under construction.

As for others, we dont post on here. Cause this site is unbarebly slow.

My friend from Newera currently has a mint condition Black Street/Circuit Spec FD
He also has 2 Fortune FDs and many other cars from the F&F Movie at the moment. + Rx8 Tubos and Z's
1 is THE ex Maroon Veilside Auto Salon car they used. t04Z etc.
1 is a standard engine movie car double. pretty nice though.

Piers has the Sun Line Racing FD3s in Okayama. He is always racing at Aida.

We usually post any events on the UK GTR forum http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/upload/me...est-world.html as there are a bunch of guys over here with nice toys.
From stock to 800+hp, drift, race or cruise.

Russ.

Nice blog mate, car looking great too. I wish i had your budget. Ive seen the F&F movies cars for sale on Yahoo Auctions with ridiculous prices and engine bays all look stock!

I just got my FD and havent really been checking out the local scene. Ive seen a few cars with Sun Line Racing on the side though.

Im not sure i would be comfortable amongst the GTR forums.

I love FCs, but when finding a car, i found that a decent FD was only slightly higher price. I will probably end up with an FC one day, i just love the 80s styling. Its gotta be white though.

Post up some pics of your cars.

Blog : thanks for comments.
My budget is all gone. and i still have a long way to go to create my perfect 7.
I still want circuit suspension, brakes, seats and those personal touches that make your car your own. + the paint isn't finished yet.

Your GTC is very nice. they look awesome and white is one of my favourite colours.

F&F cars : only a few have all the goodies. but most have decent mods and we all know to build a decent car costs money.

Check the GTR forum every so often. You can find that car enthusiasts are more open minded in Japan than in other countries.

The guys I know here in Japan have GTR, AE86, FD, Supra, Silvia, Mustang and other. We love our cars , but it's good to see how they perform against others, All have stregnths and weaknesses.

I love the stock seats, that is if you have the cloth ones, dont touch them! Racing seats remind me of baby seats, very off putting.

For my car, i would love some nice big brakes and i would love a CF bonnet. I wouldnt mind getting some of those CF canards on the front bumper. I want the feed CF bonnet but its pretty expensive so maybe i will get the FAMC one which is half the price.

yeah, the ferry ride is roughly 8 hours. We took it when we went to the Sapporo Auto Salon back in May.
Misawa is a really small city.

I live in kawaguchi in saitama, I havent got a car in japan yet but im searching. Back in australia I have 2x sa22c, one stock on lpg and one 13bBP 48webber. I had a 13bt FC but I sold itso i had enough money to survive a few months here. Id love to get an FD but I have to do a bit more research.

BigWillieStyles - are you on ausrotary, you were asking about an FD to buy?

ReXtreme - great blog the events section has helped me out a few times. Is there a meeting place around tokyo that happens every week or month for any kind of cars. I remember seeing pictures of a meet at an interchange in yokohama with the vans/trucks /cars/scooters everything.

yeah mate, im on ausrotary. I went though a year of searching for a decent FD and to get setup ready to buy a car. Finally got my ride and it was well worth the wait. If you need any advice from a fellow aussie, feel free to pop me a question!

Kawaguchi is the home of Revo-Tune. Get down and have a look.

My car is almost out of the paint shop. may be ready for the next one.

When you get a car let me know. If you need help purchasing let me know.

Ewwww...hope that isnt your car Xtreme!

Check on Yahoo auctions and Goo saleyards advertised on the web. I would check daily until i found my ride which was advertised for 1 day before i bought it. Saitama always has lots of FDs for sale. Whats your budget?

Heres one really cheap but looks nice for 380,000

or this one for 780,000
