BAE/Pacific Turbo Rx7 Motor Trend Article 1981

This article caught my eye on ebay because the featured Rx-7 has the same body kit that 83' Rx-7 has. The article came in today and of course it's very dated but also very interesting and I thought I would post it. If anyone interested let me know and I can email out the larger more readable version.

Nice pick up. Article was pretty good. I was suprised at the times they got they. Awfully slow for 232hp.

That's also a drawthrough setup. Probably made about 150 rwhp at it's best. Still a damn sexy looking FB. That's a good find.

Interesting that it has mirrors that look like the Euro-spec ones.

trochoid do you recall back in the early 80s those were aftermarket mirrors called eurostyle, and tornado.
paint it white and that would have been my 79 in 85.
there was 3 other mags that wrote on that car back then and they all had much better times. one was creative carcraft the othe car and driver. rotary rocket also published on it and had mid to low 13s for the 1/4.
