Nice- that's a great MPH for your time, which means your launch was killing you! (as your 60' time says...)
You should definatly be running maybe 14 flat with a perfect launch!
What mods?

Decent mph, dropping the '60 times by .3 sec most likely won't get you to 13's, probably low 14's. My friend ran a 14.098 @ 98 with just a 2.5" DP, presilencer and HKS air filter in his 88 TII.

Don't dump the clutch on the launch, slip it just a little and you drop those '60 times. Also lower rear tire pressure.

oops forgot to add act race 6 puck clutch and lw flywheel. the car launched the best by dropping the clutch at 7000 rpm the problem was the kumho's weren't grabbing. if i put on my drag radials that should help alot. turborotor has run 13.6 @ 96 mph so i think a high 13 is do able i mean 13.99

I thought with open intake, dp, and mp you need more fuel? Am I wrong about that? Also what does the panspeed ecu do, where do u get it and how much? Thanks alot.

you get the panspeed ecu from japan. i just lucked out and happened to find someone selling one. basically a reprogrammed ecu has different fuel, timing, boost maps so you can safely run more boost. the stock ecu cannot correctly run above 10 psi it will lean out....... which you probably know means new engine most of the reprogrammed ecu's are very similar in performance. if you can't find a used one i know www.corksport.com can have your ecu reprogrammed. it is one of the safest ways to run more boost and not blowup

Isn't it best to tell them your exact mods and then they can have it reprogrammed for them? I would like to have my wastegate ported and get a new compressor wheel, have 3" full exhaust and intake. I should get some 720cc injectors and a walbro fuel pump and send my ecu in to have it done right? Do you have any idea how much it will cost? Thanks again.

i think corksport charges $300. you have two options ecu reprogram and s-afc if you want to run bigger injectors OR RB FCD and s-afc. truthfully with full exhaust and intake and new compressor wheel you should be fine with just an ecu upgrade ! as long as you keep boost around 12 psi you shouldn't need to get 720cc secondaries yet. you can call corksport and ask about their programs they have for the ecu's. this is just like a FD where you can get a stage III ecu and it will run fine with no mods or full mods which is a good thing

Vosko,

This beats your FD all together because you can drive it!

Nice times considering you paid $500 for the T2

Talking hmm

I ran a 14.6 @95 mph w a 2.1 60ft, with intake and midpipe. I still had the stock downpipe and catback.

Now I have airpump removed, fresh air cover, dp, @ catback. Basically a full exhaust and some minor weight reduction. I also have my afc tuned and it gives a bunch more kick now.

If I can get a 2.0 60 ft, Ill be running 13.6-13.9 with some good meat.

Mines an 89...but I think most tIIs, especially 89-91 can easily hit high 13's w/full exhaust and intake. Im barely hitting 11 psi in fourth gear on a 30 degree night, so with the 89-91, boost isnt an issue as far as running to lean. I just have the fcd and afc. The afc is not tuned up at all, just tuned down in the mid range, and Im still running rich @10 psi, I could actually probably tune it down a lil.

My goal is 12's on the stock turbo on streets. I think its very attainable with the right tunning.

My best time is a 14.9@93mph, and I had nothing done to the car at the time, totally stock......

After a few months my mods should be in and installed (still deciding on some parts), and going to hope for high 13's by the end of this summer

We'll see though......

Ya those are good times. I will be happy if I get in the 13s with intake/exhaust/fcd or even low 14s.
