Anyone know who can do FMIC piping: S.Cali

Hey guys, I have the intercooler already and I have been looking for someone who could do the piping for me. Please let me know if you know anyone or know of a shop that does good work. Thanks!

ebay is cheap and the pipes are decent. Mandrel bending will cost you and non-mandrel bending blows. Honestly, try ebay.

Kyle from Mazdatrix but not sure if he does any work on the side but the guy that used to answer the phone has a side business (forgot his name) but definately "NOT" the shop behind Mazdatrix.

no one will have a 2 & 3/4 mandrel bender. get good pipes from ebay (there's two good companys. the rest are thin cheap ****) and then have then cut and welded to fit.

cut and weld them YOURSELF for added savings and 2-year-old-like welds (that's what mine looked like)

If you wanted you didn't have to bring your car down here. Your have an FC right? I would only need the intercooler to make you a front mount or v-mount.

Contact Mazdatrix and see if they can contact Henry for you. He does fab work on the weekends and has his own shop.

Coast fabrication in Costa Mesa or Huntington. They did the 797B and other rotary cars. They are expensive and the wait is months long but one of the guys that worked their also opened his own shop but I lost his name and number. You can ask them.

Henry is one busy guy. I think he has a few cars he's working on right now.

Called Renee at his shop. He told me he can't do it and he doesn't know when he can do it. He said probably a long time. That's what he told me.

Teddy, your brother asked me a few questions like did I have p/s. I have not heard back from him yet. But you guys are to far. With gas prices this high, paying you to do it and buying pipes and the the price of the IC, I'm thinking the Greddy kits aren't so expensive. And they come with the elbow and flange.

Actually Rene, Fris gave me your number. Seems everyone is super busy.

Teddy, what do you mean? I don't have a trailer or a truck to pull the trailer. Damnit I wish you guys where just a bit closer. You guys are close to 200 miles away. Plus your work looks super clean.

Thanks for the help guys!

Too bad Rene is booked up. He just finished doing some work on my car, and all I can say is, wow! He does some clean *** work at a very fair price.

Hopefully he gets a bigger shop soon.

Morse Muffler in Burbank does a ton of race car fab. They're not the cheapest I've seen but the work is off the charts nice.

I need to get my battery box welded in the rear bin. I've allready missed several races. I have a fabricator in hollywood but can't get squeezed in. I may have to go to san diego. I also need my damn A/C back. Even if I had a convertible, i'd still have A/C.
