Hey everyone -

Got in today a used RE-Amemiya spoiler from Japan. It's an older one from what I can tell, and it looks to bolt right up to the stock spoiler holes. It's REALLY nice looking, stock-ish with a little something extra. It's going on the new project car .

Anyhow, does anyone know what this spoiler is called?

reminds me of the abflug spoiler..

 

Looks just like the stock spoiler but with lettering on the underside.

Any pics of the project car!?

 

It's VERY different from a stock spoiler. Notice how it flares on the outside, kind of whale tail-ish. It is also wider than stock, and hangs over the sides of the hatch a bit.

Any more ideas on what it's called?

Looking through an old HyperRev, I found the spoiler on this old RE-Amemiya demo car -

According to that page, it's a Type II spoiler. Unfortunately, the pic doesn't show the spoiler that well, but that is quite possibly the name for the spoiler.

Found it in another old HyperRev - it's definitely called the "Rear Spoiler Type II".

It's been a while since i sold, and i can't say i really took notice of the spoiler a whole lot. I do notice a couple of the things you mentioned though.
