My new rims are finally on!! Pics

:kg:

Im happy... they dont even rub, cept on really fast, tight turns... coil overs and strut tower braces would fix the body roll. Now all I have planned for the near future is a T2 hood, and a JDM front bumper style lip from Shine.

wow they look sorta big, are those 18's?
kinda goofy looking up in front but you can solve that with some overfenders and a little more drop!

Nice Job. I love the car. Slightly reminds me of the car Ryosuke drives in initial D

thanks for all the compliments everyone! yeah the rims are 18"s, 18 by 10 rear, 18 by 9 front, JDM Linea Racing/Crimson Inc/Speed Stars. i know it looks alittle high, the tires are weight ratioed to carry a nissan Skyline... so the FC is a little lighter. i could get lower sidewall tires, but those are brand new and came with the wheels. with a little cutting, some over fenders, and a drop, itll look fine. course itll take me a long while to afford all that stuff. and no, my car isnt turbo, but its a fully street ported rebuilt NA. ~Mike

Nah not sponsored, just looking- I take my cars to alot of shows, anime cons, etc etc, and having the Initial D look alikes gets me alot of press and alot of looks. Im looking to pick up some sponsors this spring, once the magazine shoot with my ae86 happens. I know its not to everyones taste, im not looking to impress everyone. ~Mike

What are the offsets of those wheels? They look low as hell.

Like you didnt tightened the wheels on tight, they are just barely hanging on lol

Looks nice though.

the offset is almost zero i believe- the only way they fit and cleared my coil overs was because there are 20mm spacers in there... thats why they look barely on. its as if my hub was an inch further out lol. ~Mike

Do your bodywork first, then put the wheels back on, as soon as you hit a bump and that tire gets sent into the fender you're going to have a blowout and probably lose control of the car. That is very dangerous.

I think you'll turn more heads with a nice clean FC without a bunch of stickers.
