Exclamation [HELP!]my sleven got STOLEN!!!!!

Everybody! this morning 1/ 28/2007 my 1981 Rx7 Gsl got stolen in Ellensburg Washington! it was parked at my dads house, locked with no carburetor so it doesnt run. someone jacked up the back end and towed it away from the house between 8 and 10 am. Its a gold Rx7 with a full header back Racing beat exhaust. it had the stock rims on it and the front left tire was flat. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me get it back, if you hear anything or see anyone fencing parts for it please contact me. if you have anytips on finding it let me know. thank you.
~Edward

Did you have a valid plate on it? If you were in violation of any town codes or anything sometimes tow companies go "vigilante". They enforce codes to try to make easy cash when you come to get your car back. This happened to my dads track car. He had special permission for his city council to have the car where it was but the tow company grabbed it anyway. They really should be checking with the town first but sometimes they are sneaky.

Long story short check the local tow yard

That sucks, I thought auto theft was a Honda thing.

You should also try the regional board and classifieds.

Ebay and other car sales site. I know it sounds bad but cars have been recovered that way.

If there is anything I can do to help you find it, Let me know. I will scour the Craigslist for the NC locations, and I will keep an eye out on autotrader/ebay for you as well.

the only notable mod is the racing beat street port exhaust and the rats nest has been removed i had a carburetor that didnt fit so i took it out and was going to get another one but there isnt even one in the car so whoever has it will be towing it around or selling it as not running. oh and the drivers side seat has been reupholstered but i didnt make it to the passenger seat yet. thanks again Jeezus oh thank you Jeezus ha thats awesome sorry just figured out what i was saying :-) you guys are making me feel alittle better already

if anything, throw up the VIN if you have it handy. i know i'm quite a few states away but i'm a police officer and we have a database at the pd that helps track stolen cars. if anyting were to turn up with that VIN or a VIN close, it would let us know. i wish you the best of luck in having your car returned to you. try and stay optimistic. talk to neighbors and see if they saw ANYTHING at all. or even heard anything.

Yeah, chances are it was towed by a legit company for violation of some locale statute or something.

People steal running cars, not works in process... Especially during daylight hours.

Good luck man.
