We did our best runs today at Orlando Speedworld at the 'War of the Imports'.
Major difference between both runs was a fully charged battery versus one that died on the return road.

On the 1st round of eliminations he turned on the magical redlight so our day was over after that. That run resulted in a 10.08@124mph after he lifted before the end. That might have been the magical single digit firgure run if he did not lift at the end. Only time will tell!

It's primary use is for making movies!
But why complain. We drove 450 miles round trip this weekend to a track hoping to run 9's with the all motor rx-3 only to find out when we got there that everyone form North Carolina to Florida had the same idea this weekend being that it's one of the last tracks left opened for winter. There were only 375 cars in front of us. Could not even get one run in.
Well I guess we'll have to wait till next year to try and break into the 9's!

 

yo did any of you guys that went to Osw war of the imports see that Rx8 body with the engine sitting on the trialer , where the TUrbo was a bit bigger than the 13b Block itself!!!.......i got a glimpse of it when i was towing one of the broken cars to the PITs

 

Well for your information it was not a 13b but a 20b and the car belongs to NHRA Modified Champion Carlos(Oky) Gonzales.
