just curious if anybody is running tokico illuminas on stock springs and there opinion of it

Yes I do. It rides great on the lowest setting. It's a little stiff for my comfort if you turn it all the way up.

sweet, i have no budget for springs plus i don't really wanna lower my car at all.

Yeah Illuminas are your best bet for a 'stock' replacement then. If you ever get money for springs your Illumina's can handle it too.

are there any springs that don't lower the car but slightly stiffer than stock? because as it is i scrape if i don't pull into or out of the drive way at the correct angle

You could just oversize your wheels and tires, to lift your car like a half inch, and then put on some springs to lower it like an inch. That way you'd close your fender gap and only go a half inch lower.

is the lowest illumina setting a little softer than stock ??? (on an '89 vert which i think is a little stiffer than the coupe stock)

I'm moving permanently to winnipeg which has really shitty roads in the city .... would be nice to have a softer settting for driving around town ... and firmer for hitting the highways. ... would the illuminas do this ?
