Thinking of going back to stock wheels

I bought some beautiful HP wheels some time ago - your typical heavy, cast Enkei look-alikes and "18.

I remember putting the stock wheels back on once and the way the car handled and the way the steering felt was so much better. I then had the car lowered with aftermarket suspension and the feeling went back to normal with the HP's.

Well now I'm thinking I'm missing out on better handling, and I would go back to the stock wheels but a) I don't think they are very attractive being so small and sunk in to the wheel arches and b) my stockers went up in the Ramona Puresports fire.

Should I spend small cash on used stockers and put up with the looks or can anyone reccomend very light wheels that look good for less than $1,500?

I saw a vid on the Re amemiya car (street car) and it had these gorgeous gold wheels - anyone know what they are? Vid came with a recent copy of Sport Compact Car. Sorry for the long post!

I went back to the stock wheels and i loved them after having 18s for a year and a half.

I painted them black for change and i loved the way it looked too. I bought a thicker, taller tire for the rear to give it that "muscle" stance.

I love it.

I probably wont ever change and if i do, biggest im going is 17 inch and its prob still gonna be black.

I 2nd the RPF1s. Lightweight and look killer on an FD. Ive owned the RPM2s before also, a nice wheel but IMO not well suited to the lines of an FD.
