in cleavland ohio it was a red third gen sometime last week.. i was wondering whos it might be and if you can provide pics so i can show her and she can identify which one it is.. she doesnt really know much about rx7s so she really isnt much help in description shes trying to get me to sell my third gen..

yeah im not selling it.. nvr even though it is a pain in the *** with maitnence and im 18 it gets expensive.

those gtus are pretty rare from my understanding... alot more rare than fds.. my fd has been nothing but problems since i got it.. only has 33k miles but loooks as though it has 120k already blew the motor.. seeing as though this was my first car and i didnt know jack about rx7s and ran out of oil.. so the blown motor was my fault but i got a shitty rebuild and have had problems ever since..

 

Dude your motor can blow up 4 times and your still lucky as hell...I wish I could have an FD. I still love my T2, but rolling up in an FD makes ladies panties drop when you drive by. All the ladies ever ask about my car is why my hood scoop isn't centered which pisses me off.

BTW my motor has 16,000 miles on it and will probably blow soon cause I've been using full synthetic oil every 3,000 miles for a year now and I just read somewhere to NOT under any circumstances use synthetic to only use mineral oil. So don't feel bad cause mine will probably blow too and I'm 18 and broke.

 

anywho, red ones....the only people i know with red ones who would be on a forum at all is Billy. but i dont think the car is running. other than that there quite a few owned by random people.

 

BOOSTEDRX......ur motor will not blow because of using synthetic.....many people use synthetic on the froum search it

Are you serious??? I'm worrying for nothing...guess I do need to do more searching. I just remember reading that synthetic doesn't burn up right in the engine and leaves carbon deposits which evetually build up to the point that they crack an apex seal.

i got told the synthetic think to by one of the shops here they said do not put synthetic in it, it will ruin the motor..

 

Those are the same people that said the more you rev your engine, the more you wear down your seals.
