Question on springs and struts

I have a quick question. About how long would it take to replace the stock springs and struts? I just got a set of racing beat springs and 4 tokico non adjustable struts.

If theyre mounted and already on the struts, should take you about 2-3 hours.

It took me about 3 hours to change from stock suspension to coilovers on my old Civic by myself and even doing some height adjustment.

Make sure to have some PB blaster handy.

You MIGHT need an impact wrench for the top strut nuts, that go on the shock mounts.

before u kill yourself, take everything out, go pay ur mechanic 50 bucks or something to disassmeble everything and reassemble with the parts u want (in this case i presume just spring and strut, and you need ur stock mounts.

what u need is 1/2 17mm + breaker bar and cheater bar (pipe), 17mm wrench and 3/8 rachet with 14 mm with 6in extension, uhm... philips and a flathead for interior stuff, maybe a 10 or 12mm for the speaker if they use hex nuts if they use screws thats what the philips is for.

oh yeah if u got everything ready and its just a swap over, it takes about 40 minutes if u got an impact wrench (air tools anyone?) and probably 90 minutes by hand. it is that easy, 6 nuts and 2 bolts, one clip (brake line), per front side, and 4 nuts and one bolt for each rear not counting the stupid clips and screws holding the speaker and speaker cover.

this is of course only true for an second generation rx-7.

if you have a really thick front sway bar, make sure both ends of the front is off the ground, otherwise it be a pain in the ***.
