Does anyone make stiff steering rack bushing?

Does anyone make stiff steering rack bushing for 2nd gen rx7s? The stock bushing is kind of soft. I seen them for subies and hondas before i just can't find any for FCs. What are some other ways of improving steering feel other then bars? THanks!!

The stiffer bushings are useful in the other cars because theirs are overly soft and the rack actually will move back and forth. Ours are fairly thin, and when I had my rack out last year, the bushings were in good condition. I don't think the rack actually moves around much at all.

First of all thanks for the reply. I already have a manual rack, but when i drove a rx8 that totally blew my mind. The steering feel and precsion was amazing. I understand that the new car structur is much stiffer but i feel a better steering feel could be possible with the fc chassie. Currenty i have new tie rod ends, poly bushing, gab shocks in the front and a ebay strut bar (f and r). I might try to add a bottom front chassie bar and a better top strut bar. What else can i do to improve steering feel? HOw much caster should i dial in?? Thanks!

Doesn't the RX-8 use "electronically assisted" steering?

How about stiffer sidewall / lower aspect ratio tires?

Yes it does and it is unfortunately prone to failure. I sell aftermarket steering rack bushings, imported from Australia, for the FD, I'll check and see what I can get for the FC.
