Well i just bought a primered gray 150k mile 86 5 lug rx7 something
has A/C and power steering and sunroof

anyone want to tell me what it is? GXL?
got it for 700, just smogged, thought it was a good deal.

I drove it 40 miles at 80mph at night but in the last 5 minutes the needles started climbing and the overflow cap blew off right as a pulled into a gas station. I waited a while and drove it home with the heat on, no problems.

Having the heat on seems to help.
Also, it idles at 1500, quick fix?


One other thing, the drivers door doesnt close right, it looks a little low, but It may need to be trimmed because its such a tight fit ack!

wow 150mi haha....I bought my 4 lug 86 with no powersteering for 500 with 85mi...other than that mines was a base now s4 TII with 5 lugs....but 700 sounds good if everything is clean. Which needles climbed? and for the 1500 i guess just adjust the idle and mixture if that doesnt work...something TPS related
