Twin Turbo FD Motor In FC Chassis?

I just bought a 1986 RX7 GXL, NA, and a friend of mine bought a 1994 FD automatic trans. What Im wondering is if any of you guys have any knowledge about swapping a twin turbo Fd motor into a FC. I will be getting the wiring harness and eco with pretty much every thing running the fd, so Ill have a complete motor, I just need it to fit.

There is a Jamaican guy here in Miami who has an FD motor in his FC Convertible. His name is Dennis DeSilva.. he owns Street & Strip at 9680 SW 168th Street. Miami, FL

He knows how to do this conversion so i would say to call him and pick his brain.. his number is 305-206-1949

As a base RX7, I would recommend getting a tII base then installing a FD engine into a FC since on the Tubo FC has a stroger tranny, bigger brakes and stronger differential. I am not sure the N/A version will handle the FD HP. I guess you can always upgrade those components.... good luck on your swap.

I would go with the FD hook up... just make sure that you get the job done right.. or else you might be facing this guy down the road:

Auto ECU though, he'll have to use the Auto Tranny then IIRC. But still, bolting the entire FD drivetrain would be a positive to the base 86 N/A. This is a can of worms project.
