Arrow Anyone Wanna Lend me a hand in brooklyn ??

I have a 13b-re installed in a 89 gxl, i wanan take it out and put it in a gtu but before I do i need to make sure its working. For one reason or another the motor is not recieving fuel. ive done all i can with my knowledge, the haynes manual, and some help off the forum but now I think i need the help of someone more knowledgeable.

Im sure the problem is related to the hackjob wiring the PO did but I dont know much abotu the harness or wiring so i cant be sure. If someone from the area would eb willing to come by and help me try to figure this out I would provide transportation and lunch. Im too broke to tow it to/ pay for a shop and I dont trust the local shops anyway.

Again Ill appreciate any help offered.

No biggie man, hows the interior holding up? I been a little worried about moisture and such since we took the hatch off. As soon as I find out if the engines working (and I pay you ) I'll come get the gtu and get to work on the install.

I'll be done with school end of this month. If you still need a hand and I can be of any services let me know.

It's not receiving fuel you say? Make sure the fuel pump is running, the fuel filter isn't clogged, the injectors aren't fucked up, and that they are firing when they need to.

I'd check the pressure, too. Probably want to do that first, to make sure the fuel rail is actually getting fuel, and if it is, make sure the pressure is up to par. If it's not the pump may be fucked or you might have a clog somewhere or something...

The pump runs and I get fuel in the lines all the way up to the rail but it doesnt even think about kicking over unless you squirt some starter fluid. The injectors get power but for one reason or another I dont think theyre firing.

I appreciate the offers, and ill definitely take you up on them. Im about to call some local guys and see if they could lend me a hand. One guy i only met once and the other Ive only known online (from this forum) but both seems like real cool people. Ill keep you guys informed.

Yo jason let me know when you have time to clean that garage and Ill be right there. LOL bout the interior, im gonna try to pay you for that asap so it doesnt feel so bad, it sucks to have more bills than paychecks and my jobs takin its time replacing me so i gotta wait to start my new position. Hopefully the insurance from the accident hurries up and decides to pay out. I really wanan have this car running for the summer, well hopefully both but this one(the faster one) especially.
