MazFest-2006 - Buttonwillow Track Festival

It’s back!!!! MazFest-2006: Buttonwillow Track Festival

To all my Mazda friends: We’re at it again. I've joined up with a few of my good Mazda enthusiast friends to bring you all another ALL MAZDA TRACK Day on the weekend of May 20-21, at Buttonwillow Raceway. This year's event is going to include more track time though; for all you track junkies! On Saturday May 20th, it will be strictly a track day, but Sunday, May 21 (main event day) will include all of the following:

-Car Show
-Dyno
-Track Time
-Race Demos
-Track Rides
-etc... etc...

Track spots are limited, so sign up ASAP... this is first-come-(PAY)-first-serve!!! Don't be left out; like many Mazda people were at last year’s MazFest. There will be track time for everybody, from beginners to full-on racers. Race car participants interested in joining the race group, please e-mail or PM me ASAP for details.

Registration and Details here:
http://www.mazfest.com/

Pics of last years event:

Hope to see you all there, even if you don't get in on the track time!

-Berny H.

PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD TO YOUR RESPECTIVE FELLOW CLUB MEMBERS & ALL MAZDA ENTHUSIAST!

Oh and one more thing, what are we doing for food? Each his own, ording pizza.. or having some kind of BBQ or something?

Saturday is a open track day, any car is welcome.. I believe sunday is the actual Mazdafest event, which will also have some track time.

I'm going to be there for sure on saturday and drive.. might just spectate on sunday though dpending on how much track time.. 1 hour 40 min doesn't seem like much. Last time I was at buttonwillow got 3 hours.. and that just seemed to fly by.

But I will look foward to seeing some of the rotary guys upthere.

NO NO... Andrew was asking about hybrid "PISTON/V8" RXs. Rotary Powered RXs and all other Mazda piston vehicles are good and eligible for both days.

.
We're working on increasing track time for all track day peeps... we will take a little from the race group and give the street crowd a bit more time. Stay tuned.

Any chance getting low speed parade laps using your own car during lunch for those not registered? TCCRA does that and it's fun.
