Sounds like fun. I'm planning on it. It looks like I'll be coming in from the west (Topeka) on 40. Since I live about three hours away, is there a decent Hotal/Motel close that anyone would recommend? HolidayInn Express, Quality Inn...something clean but not too expensive for a night.

 

^^ I'd recomend the "westminster inn" on 6th street in lawrence. Cheap and clean.

I've got to work on saturday, but will cut out early and be there between 12 and 1pm.
We've got the site untill 10pm so people can hang out as late as they want. (I know we'll have some later arivals)

Nah man that thing is awesome. Easily the best handling FWD car I have ever driven. Full Bilstein suspension, Falken tires, and full exaust on the 8 valve 1.8L motor. Its awesome. Its muuuuch quieter than my 7, and almost as fast, untill 100 or so.

 

Ill be there and that group from Newton...which way do you go because if you go through salina i could meet up with you there or i could go down to newton. either way i would like to go w/ you guys

Hey boostedrotor89, I was planning on taking Highway 50 from Newton to Emporia, then catching the Turnpike to Lawrence. It'd be a little out of your way, but then maybe we could meet in McPherson instead and we could hit Highway 50 from there.
