Right Hand Drives
well my friend has an old school r30 skyline and his friends roll deep in s15's and other skylines and they're all registered legally. i don't understand where fumanchu and other skeptics say it's very impossible to register a RHD in present times...
thought i'd just share some pictures w/ you guys. they're in or around silverlake, los angeles, or anywhere around 50 mile radius of southern CA in case ur wondering.

Different places have different issues involved in legally registering a car. Some places it's easy. I've heard stories of places where someone from the DMV walking out inspecting the car then issuing a VIN#. And I've heard stories in Cali of people importing cars only to have them impounded. Some places it's pretty much impossible to skirt the rules. Let's face it, if it were so easy the pricey RIs wouldn't be needed and we'd all be driving imported cars.
Anything older than 25 years in the US is exempt from most of the DOT/EPA regulations. Lucky folks in Canada can register anything older than 15 years hence the sudden increase in Canadian R32s.

WHO CARES! those cars arent rare. If you're in Japan, then its a common car. Rare is something that none one has. BTW, Doluck lives behind Sunset Junction if you guys know what I mean.

but let's face it... when you have something of that caliber (turbos and all wheel drive and true performance aspects and heritage) and still get good gas mileage, i know for sure i wouldn't be driving an RX. maybe someday...
